主讲人简介

Prof. Jeff Hong is a Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Logistics Management at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), where he is also the Director of the Financial Engineering Laboratory and the Director of the MSc program in Engineering Enterprise Management. His research interests include financial engineering, stochastic optimization and simulation, and data analytics. He has published numerous papers on leading business journals, includingOperations Research, Management Science and INFORMS Journal on Computing, and he has won the Outstanding Simulation Publication Award from the INFORMS Simulation Society in 2012 and the Operations Best Paper Awardfrom IIE Transactions in 2009. He is currently an Associate Editor for Operations Research, Naval Research Logistics and ACM Transactions on Modeling and Computer Simulation,and the Executive Chairman of the GOSS Private Equity Forum, and he was a Visiting Senior Financial Economist of the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2010.
