摘 要：

Real world tasks require an automated system to reason. To model complex systems with multiple interrelated aspects, probabilistic graphical representation is promising and powerful. Observed data from real world system are noisy due to uncertainties in instrument calibration and physical limitations of devices and experimental conditions. In this talk, I will first present various probabilistic graphical models to account for the uncertainties, and the corresponding inference and learning algorithms. Then, applications of these approaches to real world complex systems are demonstrated.

主讲人简介：

孙建永，英国埃塞克斯大学博士，现为西安交通大学数学与统计学院教授、博导，国家中组部青年千人，英国埃塞克斯大学访问教授，英国工程与自然科学研究理事会评审，IEEE高级会员，英国高等教育学院会员，CCF大数据专委会通讯委员。研究方向为智能计算、机器学习及应用，以第一作者在PNAS及IEEE汇刊等TOP期刊发表四十多篇学术论文。
